ANCA's Convention at Sea in 2014
The Army Nurse Corps Association's 2014 convention will be a historic first – it will be held during an 8-day cruise along the New England and Canadian coast, aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Grandeur of the Seas. The Grandeur of the Seas

Grandeur of the Seas Fire Update

The convention itinerary will include the customary briefings and reports from senior ANCA and ANC leadership at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland on the day of departure. Bus transportation will then convey us to Baltimore, the port of embarkation.

For those coming from outside the Baltimore-Washington area, we have a Pre-Embarkation Package consisting of overnight accommodations at the Marriott SpringHill Suites at the Baltimore airport (BWI), and bus transportation to Walter Reed and back to BWI on return to port. Watch this space for information on transportation arrangements for attendees who will not be flying in.

Cruise itineraryDuring the voyage, there will be day-long stops along the coast, as shown in the graphic. Tours and excursions during these days will be available. During at-sea days there will be convention meetings, continuing education presentations, and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the comforts and amenities of one of Royal Caribbean's premier ships. The activities calendar is shown below.
